021 Electrician was founded by Brian O’Sullivan in 2005 and has since grown into one of Cork and Munster’s most trusted electrical contractors. From its beginnings as a small operation, the company now delivers safe, reliable, and forward-thinking electrical solutions across the domestic and commercial sectors.
In 2024, Dylan Murphy joined as co-owner, bringing with him over a decade of experience in the electrical trade, including 10 years specialising in solar installations, as well as expertise in heat pump installation, servicing, and maintenance. His strong background in renewable energy systems and sustainable technologies has broadened the company’s capabilities and positioned 021 Electrician as a leading provider of renewable energy solutions in Cork and beyond.
Since Brian and Dylan came together at the helm, the company has doubled in size, a reflection of their shared commitment to innovation, high-quality workmanship, and customer trust.
Both directors hold QC Registration Numbers with Safe Electric and are dedicated to continuous professional development, having completed advanced training in smart home automation and solar PV system design and installation. Alongside their skilled team, they are also SEAI-approved Microgeneration (MicroGen) Registered Contractors, ensuring that all solar panel installations in Cork and Munster meet the highest safety and efficiency standards.

As of August 2025, 021 Electrician directly employs more than 20 full-time staff across Cork and Munster. The company also works in close partnership with Sean Richardson of Complete Plumbing Solutions and Anthony O’Leary of A. O’Leary Roofing & Renovations. Together, this alliance provides a combined workforce of over 40 full-time staff, with further access to a nationwide network of trusted subcontractors covering all trades — making 021 Electrician the go-to choice for full-service electrical and energy solutions in Ireland.
